The series is about a group of conspirators fighting against Tsarism at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The main character is young Józef Pilsudski and his closest friends – later prime ministers and presidents. The action takes place in Vilnius, St. Petersburg, Lódz, Warsaw and Krakow.
